That's a wrap on Summer Season 2026! 🌴

Our local kids head back to school next week and the crowds are starting to thin out.

But here's the part we're most proud of: we didn't have a single AC breakdown at any of our properties all summer. Not one!

That's thanks to our preventative maintenance program with Air and Energy — they start on our homes in late February and wrap up by Memorial Day, right before season kicks into gear. Keeping this many homes cool through a Florida summer without a single failure is no small thing.

Huge kudos to the Air and Energy team! 🙌

Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is thrilled to announce our SECOND new construction home currently in the works on Anna Maria Island! We just received our permit and are getting ready to break ground very soon — and if that rendering on the sign is any indication, this one is going to be absolutely breathtaking. 😍

This gorgeous custom home was designed by the incredibly talented team at Sommerhouse Residential Design Studio and is being built by Bruce Williams Homes — and we couldn't be more excited about these partnerships. Just look at that design — classic Florida coastal charm with a grand, luxurious feel. That's all Sommerhouse magic right there. ✨

Something amazing is being built on Anna Maria Island, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you! We're working with Josh at Shoreline Builders to bring a brand-new 4-bedroom home to life near the iconic Coconut Ranch — and it's going to be absolutely stunning.

This isn't just any new rental. It's a Lizzie Lu's property — custom home built from the ground up with our guests in mind. More space, more comfort, more Old Florida charm — right here on the island you love.

🏗️ Construction is underway — stay tuned for updates, sneak peeks, and the big reveal in late 2027! And we're just getting started again, we have more suprises coming in the weeks ahead!

Behind the scenes of Lizzie Lu's and our friends at Reel Coastal Properties .... we really do have a life outside of work too 😎🎣

Spent the day on the water with our kids and their friends making memories, catching fish, and enjoying some much-needed family time. Running a vacation rental business keeps us busy, but moments like these remind us why we work so hard in the first place.
