Laurie grew up and spent most of her life in Syracuse, New York, where she graduated from Le Moyne College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accou
nting. In 1998, after establishing a successful career in numerous financial management roles with Carrier Corporation - a division of United Technologies - Laurie returned to her alma mater where she earned her MBA. In 2002, Laurie relocated to Florida’s Gulf Coast, ultimately selecting beautiful Anna Maria Island. With a personal affinity for architecture, design and the Anna Maria lifestyle, Laurie decided to obtain her real estate license, and later, her broker's license. In 2013, following many years working with buyers and sellers, Laurie’s entrepreneurial drive led her to spearhead and open Premier Real Estate, located on Anna Maria Island. With many years of success at the helm of her company, Laurie is sought-after by discerning clients who demand the highest level of business ex*****on and service. Today, she is delighted to be part of the team at Michael Saunders & Company, and one of the first associates to join the company’s debut office on Anna Maria Island. Outside of real estate, Laurie is immensely proud of her family, which includes her husband, Robert W Mock, three wonderful children, and beloved rescue dog, Hunter - aka “The House Hunter.” Laurie and Bob are self-proclaimed “foodies” and enjoy taking trips to Napa, CA, as well as savoring the local scene on Anna Maria Island. A fitness and health enthusiast, Laurie lives an active lifestyle, enjoys biking, kayaking, jet skiing, hosting dinners and events, delights in cultivating stunning white orchids at her home and spending time with family and friends.
