Kellerman Real Estate was established in 1963 by Dale Kellerman. The business is located in the historical landmark building located at the southeast corner of the town square in Holton, KS. Cindy Hower, Dale's daughter started with the company in 1985 and was joined by her husband Roger Hower in 1998. Today there are seven licensed agents that dedicate their lives to selling real estate. Interest

Last week Lamberson Construction poured the retaining wall. Today was the big pour ahead of the snow storm for the new stairway and floor of the stairwell. It's all temporarily enclosed with plywood to protect it and big heaters blowing warm air to cure the concrete. It's toasty enough to roast a marshmallow down there!

The retaining wall for the east outside stairwell had structural integrity problems. Lamberson Construction began work on Monday to replace the wall and stairwell. He found a little friend taking a winter nap in the limestone. Work on the interior has been put on hold for a couple of weeks.

Here are some before pics of the basement space we are renovating. Due to deteriorating limestone walls it was time to take the sheet rock walls down and expose the limestone that sorely needed pointed up. This is the basement of the Kellerman Insurance building on the corner. Kellerman Real Estate will occupy the basement space soon and Kellerman Insurance will continue to occupy all the main floor. We let Rob come up for air.
