People think property management is just collecting rent… but today we started with an emergency leak, 3 inspections, 14 phone calls, and helping a family get approved for their new home 🏡

And not to mention… I went to do an inspection without doing my hair because of this weather, thinking I wasn’t going to see anyone. I looked like I rolled right out of bed… como
Una loca 😅 and OF COURSE I ran into people I haven’t seen in years. 😭😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one this happens to! At this point, I learned my lesson next inspection during bad weather, I’m wearing a hat. 🧢🤣

That’s part of being in property management… you just never know what the day is going to bring. 😅

Shoutout to all the property managers, maintenance teams, leasing agents, and office staff holding it all together every day. 👏

The best part of what we do isn’t managing buildings, it’s really the people we meet along the way.

Today we ran into a former tenant who lived in one of the properties we once managed. Even though we no longer manage that building, the moment she saw me she came running over with the biggest smile and gave me the warmest hug.

She told me how much she still loves her home and how grateful she was for the help we gave her when she was searching for a place to live.

Moments like that remind us that this work is so much more than paperwork, maintenance, and leases. It’s about helping someone find a place where they feel safe, comfortable, and proud to say… “This is my home.”
