We installed a interior French drain system along three sides of the home. We cut the floor 14" from the foundation then dug out approximately 18"on the three sides. The French drain was composed of a bed of gravel with 4" perforated pipe then more gravel running to sump pits on either side of home. These sump pits will both have 1/2 horse sump pumps plumbed to the exterior of the home with a 2 1/2" discharge systems with check valves to prevent backflow. This will be approximately 40lft of drainage. Once the repairs were made we sealed the foundation and floor in basement area with dry lock and basement floor paint. We also reinstalled approximately 400sqft of drywall and finish to a tape coat.

The bathroom floor was pealing up allowing water to get underneath causing the plywood to get wet and rot. The only option was replacement of the flooring.
We removed the subfloor, inspected the floor joist for structural integrity. We will also remove the toilet and vanity before removing and installing the new floor . We installed a vinyl plank floor.
We will install a new wax ring and fl**ge bolts for the toilet. Lastly also seal around the vanity top and around the tub with a silicone

There is not flashing around the top of the deck. This allowed water to get behind the rim joist and into the plywood. We removed approximately 50lf of vinyl siding above deck two rows high. We installed an L-bend flashing over the first deck board and behind the siding. We then reinstalled the siding. We also had to remove the plywood on the left side of the garage door and over the
top.

Nikki and her team at Queen Bee Cleaning have been fantastic to work with. Recently I moved my headquarter office to Main Street in Honesdale and was in desperate need of a cleaning company to keep up with our needs.
