Less than a year before 9/11, I had the privilege of visiting one of the Twin Towers unaware that it would be destroyed the next year. 🥹
I remember the large expansive hall ways and thinking how crowded it was on that week day. I wanted to go to the very top because it was the tallest building I had ever been in at the time. We arrived late mid-afternoon so once once the top I couldn’t see beyond the gloomy clouds. But it felt amazing just to be up there high above the bustling city.
I’ll forever cherish the memory and someday will return to pay my respects to the 2,977 individuals that we lost that day. 🙏🏾
9/11 happens to also be my baby brother’s David Bui birthday. I realize that there’s a bit of a dichotomy here but such is life. Cheers to you and living life to the fullest! Love you and wishing you wonderful days ahead! Kanpai! 🍶🎉
