We’re back with Episode 3 of our home renovation series! 🏡✨

This is one of my favorite stages of the process — when the vision we talked about from the very beginning starts to come to life.

The layouts are finalized, the color palettes have been selected, and all of the details are beginning to take shape. With each step, we’re getting closer to transforming this house into a home and welcoming the next family who will make memories here for years to come.

Excited to share more as we get closer to the finished product. 🤙🏽🔨

🏡 What if you could move…without giving up your 3% mortgage rate?

For a lot of Hawai‘i homeowners, that could be a game changer.

The newly introduced MOVE Act is proposing the idea of portable mortgages — meaning you may eventually be able to transfer your current mortgage rate, remaining balance, and loan terms to your next home.

For local families sitting on a 2%, 3%, or 4% rate, that’s huge.

Right now, I talk to plenty homeowners who would like to move up, downsize, or get into a different neighborhood — but they don’t want to give up the low interest rate they already have.

And can you blame them?

Going from a 3% mortgage to a much higher rate can make a big difference in the monthly payment.

⚠️ Important though: the MOVE Act is NOT law.

It has only been introduced in Congress, so there’s still a long way to go before anything actually changes.

But it definitely brings up an interesting question for Hawai‘i homeowners…
