July brought stronger activity across Oʻahu’s housing market, with sales increasing and homes moving faster compared to last year.

Single-Family Homes
• Median Sales Price: $1,224,500 | ↑ 13.9%
• Closed Sales: 300 | ↑ 20.5%
• Days on Market: 14 | ↓ 30.0%

Condominiums
• Median Sales Price: $504,500 | ↑ 3.0%
• Closed Sales: 416 | ↑ 6.9%
• Days on Market: 38 | ↓ 24.0%

🔑 What does this mean for sellers?
Buyer activity remains strong, and homes are selling faster than they were a year ago. Single-family sellers received a median of 100% of their original asking price in July. With more new listings entering the market, however, the right pricing and presentation can make a big difference.

🔎 What does this mean for buyers?
Growing inventory means more homes to choose from, but desirable properties can still move quickly—especially single-family homes, which spent a median of just 14 days on the market. Being prepared with your budget, financing, and offer strategy can help when the right home comes along.

Oahu Market Report – May 2026

Oahu's housing market remained active in May, with single-family home sales increasing 8.5% year-over-year to 255 transactions. Buyer demand continued to show strength, with pending sales rising in both the single-family and condo markets. The median single-family home sales price remained stable at $1.166 million, while the median condo sales price increased 4.0% year-over-year to $520,000.

Single-family homes also sold faster than a year ago, spending a median of just 13 days on the market, compared to 21 days in May 2025. Meanwhile, inventory remained below year-ago levels in both market segments, contributing to continued competition among buyers.🏡

Oahu's housing market continues to demonstrate steady demand, particularly in the single-family home sector. Stable home values, increased buyer activity, and limited inventory reflect a market that remains active and competitive heading into the summer season.✨
