Most Waikiki hotel rooms don’t have dishwashers. This one does.

🌺New at the Ilikai: a ninth-floor one bedroom with a lanai over the Waikiki, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, and a remodeled bath with a walk-in shower. King bed plus a full sofa bed, split A/C, and blackout drapes.

Out the front door you’ve got the Hilton Hawaiian Lagoon, Waikiki Beach, and Ala Moana Beach Park. Down in the lobby there’s poke, steak, coffee, and Dave’s ice cream. Beach chairs, a boogie board, and a cooler are already in the closet. Link in bio.

Our oceanfront studio at the Colony Surf sits on the quiet Diamond Head end of Waikiki, so the water is right out front and dinner is a walk away without the crowds. Full kitchen, your own parking stall, and a cross breeze off the ocean. Monk seals and honu turn up most mornings, and the Friday night fireworks show up right on schedule.

If you’re wondering where to stay on Oahu for a month or longer, this one is built for it. Sleeps two, 30-night minimum, everything stocked before you walk in.

Halona Blowhole put on a show yesterday 🌊

Hurricane Lowell passed to the west of the islands and pushed big surf into Oahu’s south and east shores. This is what the blowhole does with that kind of swell behind it. Filmed from the lookout, well back from the rocks, which is the only place to be watching on a day like this.

Sending aloha to everyone on Kauai and Niihau. If you are on Oahu, stay off the ledges and out of the water until the high surf warning lifts.

New to our inventory: an oceanfront 1-bedroom at Konane Kai in Waialua, where the lawn ends in sand 🌊

Fully remodeled, with two full baths and a lanai that runs the length of the unit. Mornings here are coffee, honu sightings in the ocean, and a beach that stays mostly empty midweek. Haleiwa town is a short drive for shave ice and dinner, and the pool, hot tub, sauna and gym are all onsite.

If you’ve been trying to figure out where to stay on Oahu’s North Shore without the Waikiki crowds, this is our new favorite answer. Fall dates are open on our calendar. Link in bio to check availability.

Every side of Oahu is beautiful. That’s exactly why choosing where to stay on Oahu is hard. Nobody is going to tell you a bad thing about anywhere, so you end up picking based on a photo instead of how your family actually travels.
