There is GOOD news for YOU!! ➡️ Barn doors are still in, but they're becoming more of a selective design feature than a must-have trend. The style and placement make all the difference.

This door leads to a hallway bathroom. It offers less privacy, but can work in a space where a traditional door would crowd the space.

DID YOU KNOW ⁉️
The average age of a single family home on Oahu is approximately 40-55 years old, with average year built being 1969-1980! Many of these home have good bones, but need extra "zhuzhing" before going on the market!

My top three recommendations for cost effective improvements are painting, flooring and, you guessed it, STAGING! I've notice lately that even without the first two, quality staging can make me fall in love with a space that I thought I couldn't even imagine liking!!

I can connect you with painters, flooring installers and stagers. Just say when!

Open house prep is no joke!! You definitely have to leave time for the unexpected. Even a simple direction like "open all windows" can take 5 or 25 minutes!!

This type of window is common in many Hawaiian homes and while they let wonderful breezes in, they sure do take a lot of time to open and close. They can be glass, wood or vinyl and mayb have different ways to open and lock them.

The name jjalousie window comes from the French word for jealousy and originally referred to windows or shutters with angled slats designed to keep peering eyes out.

Not sure that it accomplishes that goal, but I'm sure I would have toned arms if I lived here.

I like to test EVERY part of the property for safety hazards. Not gonna lie, this was way faster than expected and much more fun than the stair lifts I've tested!

First up: Signing Day! ✍️
This is when all of the final paperwork is signed, the loan is finalized, and everything is officially in place for closing. But after signing what seems like a mountain of paperwork, you don't get to move in just yet. The deed has to be recorded and it takes a few days so you have to wait.

Next up: Closing Day or Recordation Day!🔑
My buyers have affectionately named this the sweetest day of the process so we celebrated in the best way possible—with delicious Hawaiian-inspired cookies from CRUMBL!
