In my life my days are filled with serving clients as a realtor and providing leadership as a boardmember and commissioner in four different non profit organizations. This work in the community is very satisfying, however, above all else my family is the most important thing and my children Michaela and Kaipo hold my heart, as well as my husband, Mike. These days I feel the need to tell them often, that I love them because both Kaipo and Michaela reside on the US Mainland (sorry I don't say continent). I miss them so much and can't wait for our next get together.

Just Sold! Congratulations to my beautiful seller who lived in the home for five years before moving on to her next work assignment. Although there is so much inventory on the west side we secured a buyer within a week's time because she took such good care of the home and she took my advice seriously and followed recommendations that I gave her. Congratulations also to the buyers who are moving into such a lovely home.

With the closing of the iconic Ward Centre recently I can't help but feel a bit melancholy remembering that this place was a special part of so many memories with friends and family during my youth, especially in the 80's and 90'a era. This photo was taken in my modeling days on location sitting at the cafe table in front of Mocha Java, the most iconic coffee, smoothie and casual cafe that so many meetings and girlfriend meetups were held. They were ahead of their time even before the Starbucks conglomerate moved in to Hawaii. So here's my ode to Ward Centre naming Mocha Java and a few of my other favorite most memorable restaurants and retailers:
Susan Marie boutique - Marie pronounced "mah ree A" (French influenced). This upscale clothing boutique had some of the most exquisite fashion I absolutely loved and I remember modeling in a tv commercial for them.

Ryan's Bar & Grill - a popular hang out for me and my late bestie Sharie Shima, where our favorite thing was sitting at the bar flirting with the bartenders and having drinks sent to us from men quite frequently.

Compadres Mexican Bar & Grill- Lots of gatherings here with airline friends and I loved their Margaritas.

Yum Yum Tree- OMG when they eventually closed it was sad. A classic family friendly restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I remember being there often after pageant rehearsals, college exams, and modeling gigs.

Andrew's Italian Restaurant- My bestie Ivy Shishido was GM here and when I was a single mom with Kaipo we came here for dinner a lot. This is where Kaipo found his favorite food at the age of 3 --- Lobster Ravioli. 😁

Sedona - Crystals and more crystals. This store got me hooked on beads, crystals, and gemstones.

Taj - a very cute t shirt shop. Being there made me feel like a little girl.

I'm honored to participate on the judges panel of the inaugural Miss Cosmo Hawaii and Miss Teen Cosmo Hawaii pageant happening tonight at the Inspiration Hawaii museum.
Congratulations to Pageant Director and owner of Crowned Collective Hawaii, Eva Salcedo, for taking the step to initiate this meaningful endeavor. Whatever your thoughts may be, there is a greater good being achieved in this beauty pageant, which has a theme of "Impactful Beauty" focusing on beauty coming from the heart and and making a difference by taking part in influencing significant issues in our community.
