Why do you work so hard?

Because I have an expensive habit: giving back. ❤️

I was born with a kind heart. If I can do something, no matter how small to make someone’s life a little easier, I want to do it.

But recently years, life has also taught me that kindness without boundaries can sometimes be taken advantage of. I’ve learned to be more careful about who I give my energy, trust, and kindness to. Protecting yourself doesn’t mean you have to stop being kind.

So I found different ways to give.

For the past 12 years, I’ve continued supporting children at orphanages in Vietnam, along with other charity projects throughout the years. And honestly, I realized something along the way: giving makes me happy.

Every time I’m able to help someone, I feel a sense of peace and fulfillment that money can’t buy. It’s like a little reminder of what really matters in life.

This time, I chose something especially close to my heart: supporting 12 students from underprivileged families at my former gifted high school in Vinh.

I know what it feels like to come from a difficult beginning and still have big dreams.

If a little support can make life easier for these students—so they can worry a little less about money and focus a little more on their education then that is enough for me.

I also shared my own story with them not because I have everything figured out, but because I want the next generation to know:

Your circumstances do not have to define your future.
Keep going. Work hard. Believe in yourself. And when you have the ability to help someone else, don’t forget where you came from. ❤️

Maybe this is why I work so hard.

Not just to build a life for myself, but to have the ability to make someone else’s life a little easier, too.

225 classes at Heated! 🔥🤍

A year ago, I started this journey with my bestie Cassandra, and it became so much more than just working out.

6 classes a week, surrounded by strong, amazing women who push each other and lift each other up. Heated just fits me, I’m resistant and love a challenge, so the heat, music, energy, and intensity are exactly what I need.

No matter how tired or mentally drained I am, I always leave feeling better. 🤍

These days, I care so much more about being healthy, feeling strong, building muscle, and taking care of my body.

Thank you, Heated Kahala family and all instructors for this incredible community and all the memories. Here’s to 225 classes and many more! 🫶🏻🔥
