It was great to see some familiar Colliers faces at the Hawaii Economic Association’s 2026 Annual Conference last Friday!

Nanette Vinton of Colliers Hawaii's Research & Consulting Division joined the Economic Forecasting Panel, sharing her perspective on Hawai‘i’s economy and how AI could impact the state in the years ahead.

And retirement couldn’t keep Mike Hamasu away! Mike brought the Colliers spirit back as moderator of the Hiring and Recruitment Panel, helping guide the conversation around Hawai‘i’s evolving workforce.

This week, we celebrate Mike Hamasu as he retires after an amazing 25 years with Colliers!

Mike has been such a big part of our team as Director of Research and Consulting, always bringing sharp insights, a great sense of humor, and plenty of personality to everything he does.

And if you’ve ever seen one of Mike’s market presentations, you probably remember the Mickey Mouse wizard hat. He earned the nickname “the wizard” for good reason — somehow making market data feel a little more magical.

Thanks for 25 incredible years, Mike. We’ll miss the insights, the laughs, and of course, the wizard hat. Wishing you all the best in retirement!

Cheers to an incredible 120 years of combined service!

This week, we had the pleasure of celebrating the anniversaries of three outstanding members of our Colliers Hawaii ‘Ohana: Scott Mitchell (45 years), Mark Bratton (40 years) and Guy Kidder (35 years)!

It was a special evening filled with appreciation, great memories and plenty of reasons to celebrate. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, leadership and lasting impact Scott, Mark and Guy have brought to Colliers over the decades.
