So thankful to witness this in person. Hawaiʻi’s Kīlauea Volcano erupted, sending a raging lava fountain 1,500 feet into the air. Standing there, feeling the heat, hearing the roar, and seeing molten rock shoot skyward was absolutely overwhelming. We explored the crater rim trail for about an hour before it was shut down as tephra began to rain down. The timing was perfect, and experiencing this raw power of nature in person is truly unforgettable! 🌋🌴🌊✨
