Rent charges 100% interest. Every dollar you pay goes to someone else's equity, their mortgage, their asset. A 7% mortgage charges 7% , and gives you an asset that appreciates, a tax deduction, and a net worth that grows every single month.

Even at elevated rates, homeowners consistently outperform renters over time. The math has never been close.

🏡 Oahu Real Estate Market Update | July

🏠 Single-Family Homes
Sales jumped 20.5% from a year ago, while the median sales price rose 13.9%. Homes sold in a median of just 14 days, six days faster than last July. Higher-end sales saw especially strong growth.

🏢 Condos & Townhomes
Sales increased 6.9% year-over-year, with a median price of $504,500, up 3%. Properties also moved faster, spending a median of 38 days on market, compared to 50 days last July.

💡 More options under $500K
More than 1,200 Oahu properties priced at $500,000 or below have sold so far this year, and roughly 1,200 are currently available in that price range.

Through July, 47% of condo sales closed below $500K, while 34% of single-family home sales closed below $1M.
