Hip, Hip Hooray! It’s Signing Day! 🎉🎉🎉

Like most First-time Homebuyers, they were so anxious and nervous about the process of buying a home. Fast forward 40 days later and they’re signing their last documents for purchase their home! The smiles and laughter were evidence that they knew they were almost home! 🏡

My dad walked out on us when I was a kid. I prayed for love and acceptance and God gave me two amazing men. 🩵💙

When I married John, I gained the most wonderful dad. Both modeled the kind of unconditional love and godly affection that made you feel secure. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

March 26, 2026 ~ My heart shattered the morning John went to Heaven. How do I console this most precious man while he was grieving the loss of his son? How do I deal my own pain at the same time? It felt unimaginable and excruciating.

With Jesus. Our Comforter. Our Healer. Our Everything. The Mender of our souls.

Thank you Jesus for giving me the two most important men in my earthly life. Time is fleeting. I can’t wait to be in Heaven with you John. In the meantime, I will choose to make the most of each day to showing those I hold dearly that they are deeply loved and completely seen, like you both did for me. ♥️

♥️Love is a verb. A huge thank you to my beautiful sister-in-luv, Rosie , for letting me visit her amazing students who thoughtfully made cards for John while he was here. Their works of art graced his bedroom walls for him to look at each day. They brought smiles to his face and joy to our hearts.

I read, Always Ida, to them. A story about how love ones lost will stay in our heart, always. We took a photo with mom’s favorite pose, “look to Jesus” which I now named in my heart “look to Jesus… & John”.

Hugs to Steph at Wahiawa El for finding & lending this heartwarming book to us. Luv u for this! 💖🌸

People say time heals all wounds. I believe it will take my entire lifetime. I miss your smiling face and hearing your voice. I miss taking walks with you and you reading the Bible to me. I miss our Friday night date nites. I miss everything about US. May 14th is soon approaching. The saddest and hardest day of my life. I love you forever. ♥️🤍🕊️
