✨Meet your 2026 MCAR Board of Directors✨

Shay Ryan-Blakeslee has been licensed in Oregon and Washington since 2019 with Windermere CRG.

Over the past few years, she’s found herself increasingly drawn to the behind-the-scenes work that helps both agents and the industry grow. Since 2023, she has served on the Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors Board of Directors, previously chaired the DEI Committee, and now contributes to DEI, Education, and Elections/Nominations.

Shay is a graduate of the Oregon Realtors Leadership Academy and most recently served as Director of Agent Development at Windermere CRG, where she built training programs and worked closely with new agents as they found their footing.

In 2025, her husband Carl joined her in real estate, and working alongside him has quickly become one of her favorite parts of the job.

She cares deeply about mentorship, education, and doing the kind of work that makes the industry better and is grateful to be part of this community.

With a career background in construction, retail, customer service, and community service programs, I’ve built a reputation for problem-solving and creating positive experiences. My promise is to guide you with skill, care, and local expertise so you can feel confident at every stage of your real estate journey.

My commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Copper West Real Estate Rookie of the Year 2024 award and the Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors Rising Star award for 2025. I’m proud to extend that same dedication to Gresham, where I’m building lasting relationships through East County Little League and the local school system. Beyond client work, I contribute to the industry as a member of the following committees: the Oregon Realtors Professional Development Key Committee, the Women’s Council of Realtors Communication Committee, and the Washington Realtors Membership Core Committee. Also, I serve as the Washington Director for the Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors. These roles keep me connected, informed, and positioned to bring the very best knowledge and resources to my clients.

✨Meet your 2026 Oregon Director: Natasha Whitefield ✨

As a dedicated Realtor with over 12 years of experience, I help clients buy and sell homes across the Columbia River Gorge in both Oregon and Washington. Having lived in these communities most of my life, I have a deep love for the area and a firsthand understanding of what makes it such a special place to call home.

Real estate isn’t just about transactions for me; it’s about helping people find the right place to plant their roots. I take pride in making the process as smooth and stress free as possible, ensuring my clients feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way. Whether it’s negotiating a deal, answering questions, or celebrating a closing day, I’m committed to providing a positive and seamless experience.

Beyond my work with buyers and sellers, I also serve as the Oregon Director for the Mid Columbia Association of Realtors, where I advocate for property owners rights and work to strengthen our local communities.

I’d love the opportunity to help you find a home that fits your lifestyle and goals.

“Helping to plant your roots in the Columbia River Gorge!”

🏛️ Washington’s 2026 Legislative Session is underway — and the decisions made in Olympia directly impact our industry, our clients, and housing availability across our communities.
Washington REALTORS® is actively advocating for policies that support housing supply, transparency in the marketplace, and fair housing access while opposing legislation that could increase the cost of housing.
➡️ Swipe through to see several key legislative priorities, including:
• Ensuring public marketing of residential properties
• Expanding housing opportunities in commercial zones
• Supporting rural accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to increase housing supply
• Encouraging stacked flat condominium development
• Opposing policies that would increase housing costs through additional taxes or fees
💡 Why it matters:
Legislation shapes how we practice real estate, how housing is built, and what options are available for buyers and sellers in our communities.
📚 Want to stay informed?
