Heartbreaker last night. 💔

My Auburn Tigers came up just short in a 2-1 nail-biter against Arkansas in the SEC Tournament semifinals — outhit ‘em, just couldn’t get the timely hit when we needed it. War Eagle always. 🧡💙

That said… how lucky are we to live in a place where the SEC Baseball Tournament happens RIGHT in our backyard? The Hoover Met buzzing every May, the best baseball in the country a few exits down I-459, fans from all 16 schools rolling into town — it’s one of those perks of calling this area home that you really can’t beat.

And the best part? There’s still one more chance to soak it in this year. 🏆 Arkansas and Georgia square off in the championship game TODAY at 1 p.m. at the Hoover Met. If you’ve never made it out, grab a ticket, grab a hot dog, and go enjoy a little slice of what makes living here so special.

Is this heaven? No, it’s Hoover. 😍⚾️

The Road to Hoover starts tomorrow – and the best baseball tournament in the country is happening right in our backyard.

For one week every May, the Hoover Met turns into the center of the college baseball universe. 16 teams. One trophy. The best fan bases in the country packing the stands.

And the best part? If you live in this area, it’s a 15-minute drive instead of a 15-hour one. ⚾️☕️☀️ (this sign is just around the corner from my office!)

That’s just one more reason I love calling Hoover home. Who’s headed out to the Met this week?
