AS an American, I believe the words of our Constitution that all men (people) are created equal. It is a sad commentary to have to add, just to be perfectly clear, that I mean all are created equal, and skin color means NOTHING to God; all human beings are created equal. If you don't believe in God or Jesus, that is fine too. You are free to think for yourself.
I like or dislike a person based on that person's CHARACTER, not their skin color or what religion or ethnicity or bloodline, or on how broke or rich someone is. It is sad I have to clarify this. My strong preference for Trump does not mean I am racist. I like or dislike based on character, nothing else. Fortunately most people that know me, know that. Character is all that matters to me and I'm very tolerant, sometimes too tolerant or too nice. CHARACTER, folks, character is what matters. Do you treat others around you well? Do you treat others with honesty, decency and respect? Do you treat me with honesty, decency, and respect? If so I will like you based on that. I don't care what color, religion, race, ethnicity, s*x, or s*xual preference you have, as long as you treat me the same. I don't wave a flag or force you, or try to force you to like me. Like me on the merits of character or dislike me for that. But don't judge me either based on my skin, religion, race, ethnicity, s*x or my hetero point of view. Treat me well and I'll do the same to you. Be ugly to me, and I'll find ways not to be around you. Division in this country comes from people constantly talking about race. Morgan Freeman is exactly right about that.
AS a Christian, I believe God loves everyone, and Jesus died for humans, not based on their skin color, race, ethnicity or for any other reason. Being a Christian does not make me better than anyone or worse, and actually my faith means I'm to treat all equally. In my faith, Christ died for ALL, and as a Christian I am to love all people good and bad. THESE are the principles we should be living day to day, Christian or non-Christian. I am NOT a racist in any way and I do differ with those that stereotype me because they think who I would vote for is racist. People need to stop the vilification about every little thing. For the life of me, I can not understand the hatred for Jewish people. It is a horrible thing to see. Civilization builds, creates, constructs and makes all lives better. Hatred destroys, kills, maims, burns, bombs, and blow things up.
