📊 Fayetteville Public Works Commission is proposing a 5% electric rate increase effective May 1, 2026, followed by an additional 5% increase effective May 1, 2027, if approved.
💵 For a residential customer using 1,000 kWh per month, the projected impact would be:
📈 Near $8.00 more per month starting May 2026
📈 Near $8.59 more per month starting May 2027

🚰 The proposal also includes adjustments to certain electric, water, and wastewater fees and surcharges.
