The Fed does not set mortgage rates. The media has been releasing a lot of articles meant to scare people about "major rate hikes by the Fed." While there is some correlation between the two rates, they aren't the same. Learn more below:

Housing supply in the Twin Cities Metro is finally on the rise! For the first time this year, we are seeing supply levels above what we saw last year. The most recent data, shown below, shows supply is up 2.9% throughout the metro. This is particularly great news for buyers as there are more homes available, ultimately lessening the previous extreme gap between supply and demand.
