For the second year in a row (!!!!), Minneapolis and St. Paul’s park systems have been named two of the top five cities in the nation for parks. ⛲🌳🌷 The Trust for Public Land’s ParkScore® Index evaluates the 100 largest U.S. cities based on park access, investment, equity, and acreage to make their list of the best of the best. And the Twin Cities have come out on top!
#3 Minneapolis boasts an astounding 99% of residents living near a park, 16% of land used for parks, $346/capita on park spending, and 309 parks and greenspaces.
#4 St. Paul can brag about 99% of residents living near a park, 16% of land used for parks, $309/capita on park spending, and 267 parks and greenspaces.
