The recently-formed Hopkinsville Small Business Commission has prioritized the growth of small business and is seeking the feedback of small business owners, as it works to develop its priorities.
During the week of Sept. 22-29, the Small Business Commission is asking anyone who owns a business with 100 employees or less, and that is located within the Hopkinsville, Kentucky, city limits, to complete a brief survey and provide integral input.
Results from the survey will assist the commission in addressing priority needs for small businesses. The survey link, which can also be found on the City of Hopkinsville website and page, is https://tinyurl.com/HoptownSBCsurvey.
Launched by Hopkinsville Mayor J.R. Knight, the Small Business Commission was created with the purpose of providing strategic guidance, as the mayor’s office and Hopkinsville City Council works to create a more favorable economic environment for the city’s small business owners. The commission will present recommendations for incentives, policies and strategies to help retain and grow small businesses.
