💥Good Afternoon,
I wasn't going to touch on this but then as friends and family reach out all worried about all the things they are hearing or reading about the NAR Settlement, I decided to share my input.

💥If you are out of the loop and wondering what I am talking about -
The National Association of Realtors (NAR)
has reached a settlement (that is still subject to court approval) in regards to the compensation model in Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and has agreed to enforce a new rule that urges Realtors to have a Buyer Agency Agreement that describes what services they will be getting and the cost of those services.
Wanna know a secret.... ok it's not really a secret but....*most of the good* Realtors are already doing that!😊
Basically the major change is where the cost of those services are being paid from and now instead of it coming from a sellers pocket the buyer may have to pay for their representation out of their pocket.

💥Ask me my thoughts on how to work through that for my buyers who are already having to come up with funds to purchase a house with closing costs and fees. Let's chat! I have some 💡ideas.
....Here are my thoughts.....

💥The real estate industry has always been an “adapt to survive” industry. Think about all the market changes we navigate. Think about how things changed through the Pandemic. We adapt as we go.
💥As a realtor, I adapt & challenge myself to be the best agent I can be...not to find ways to outsmart this change but to keep serving my clients in the midst of chaos.
💥I won’t be freaking out or panicking, I’ll be working on developing systems & adapting my services to continue to get my clients what they need and deserve.
💥The best part, is that I am on an Ahhhh-mazing team that already is ahead of these changes and have been providing what we need to, to keep the client at the heart of everything we do.
