NAR Economist: ‘Housing Recession Is Over’ The real estate scene here has managed to stay quite strong in 2023. While the overall Texas housing market has begun to cool in the wake of higher mortgage rates and economic uncertainty, OUR El Paso’s market still feels like a hot Texas summer. The median price of a single-family home is $252,000.00 an increase by about 5.0 % between JULY 2022 and JULY 2023, according to the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors (GEPAR). The amount of active inventory and the number of new listings DECREASED year-over-year by 1.2% with over 2002 active listings.

Homes in El Paso receive on average 2-3 offers and UNDER CONTRACT around 14-24 days UP BY 7.7%. The median sale price per square foot in El Paso is $151 up 7.9% since last year. The median price of a single-family home is $261,450.00 an increase by about 9.9 % between JUNE 2022 and JUNE 2023, according to the Greater El Paso Association of Realtors (GEPAR). The amount of active inventory and the number of new listings also increased year-over-year by 6.3% with over 1349 active listings on the market and 510 pendings.
