🎣❤️ 30 YEARS OF FISHING, FRIENDSHIP & COMMUNITY! ❤️🎣

What an incredible day celebrating the 30th Annual Hot Springs Board of REALTORS® Special Needs Fishing Derby!

For 30 years, this event has brought our community together for a day that is about so much more than fishing. It’s about smiles, laughter, encouragement and making sure some very special students know just how much their community loves and supports them.

And this year was one for the books!

🎣 243 students and teachers signed in
🐟 134 fish were caught
🏆 One student caught an incredible 10 fish!
🐟 The largest catch weighed 4 pounds, 1 ounce
❤️ And more than 70 volunteers showed up to make the day special!

The true stars of the day were the amazing students, along with their teachers, families and friends. Watching them fish, celebrate their catches and cheer one another on is exactly why this event means so much to us year after year.

We were also honored to welcome recently retired Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Clint Coleman and Arkansas REALTORS® President Phillip Jones.

This wonderful tradition began 30 years ago because of our dear friend Chris Polychron, who was serving as HSBOR President at the time and later went on to serve as President of the National Association of REALTORS®. What started with a vision three decades ago has grown into one of the most treasured traditions of HSBOR. ❤️

A special thank you to our incredible SOAR leader, Karly Pratchard, for pouring so much into this event and to Serethia Crawford for bringing the enthusiasm and cheering everyone on at the weigh-in!

We also cannot say enough about the Lake Hamilton Bassin Wolves Fishing Team, along with sponsors Brian Hopkins and Greg Mundy, for being such an important part of this special day.

And to our REALTOR® volunteers more than 70 strong THANK YOU! There are simply too many of you to name individually, but please know that every hot dog served, fishing pole baited, student encouraged, fish weighed, cooler carried and helping hand given mattered. This event would not happen without you. You are an incredible reflection of what it means to be a REALTOR® and a part of this community.

September is REALTOR® Safety Month, and we were excited to give our members the opportunity to put safety into action! 💪🏡

A huge thank you to Vanguard Defense and Instructor Chad Wilson for hosting HSBOR for an incredible hands-on Self Defense Seminar. Our members learned practical techniques, situational awareness and real-world skills that can help them stay safer while working in the field.

We also want to thank State Trooper Richard Davis for joining us and helping with the demonstrations!

Thank you to everyone who came out, participated and wasn’t afraid to get a little hands-on! We had a fantastic turnout and an even better time learning together. ❤️

HSBOR showed up in Branson!

Members of the Hot Springs Board of REALTORS® spent the beginning of the week at the 102nd Arkansas REALTORS® Convention in Branson, Missouri, and we came home with plenty to celebrate!

Congratulations to Jennifer Eubanks, Realtor - White Stone Real Estate, who graduated from the Graduate REALTOR® Leadership Academy (GRLA)! Completing this program takes a commitment to growing as a leader, serving our industry and becoming even more involved in the REALTOR® organization. We are so proud to see Jen represent HSBOR!

Cindy Meyers received the Arkansas REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award, an honor that could not be more fitting. Cindy has given countless hours, years of hard work and an incredible amount of dedication to the REALTOR® organization. Her service has reached far beyond HSBOR, with contributions at the local, state and national levels.

Those of us at HSBOR know firsthand just how much Cindy has poured into this Association and the people in it. Her willingness to serve, lead, mentor and simply show up when she is needed has made a lasting impact. We are incredibly proud of her and honored to call her ours.

And we were especially proud to have Julia Mathews, Executive Broker White Stone Real Estate represent HSBOR as our 2026 REALTOR® of the Year among REALTORS® of the Year from across Arkansas. Julia's leadership, involvement and commitment to our Association made us proud to see her representing Hot Springs on the state level.

Of course, convention isn't all awards and education... judging by the photo booth pictures, our crew managed to have a little fun too. 😂

Congratulations to Jen, Cindy and Julia, and thank you to everyone who represented HSBOR in Branson. Seeing our members learn, lead, serve and be recognized alongside REALTORS® from across the state is something worth celebrating.

This wonderful team of Realtors from Keller Williams Realty, The Bergeron Group helped sort and distribute the very first Cans for Kids delivery of the 2026-2027 school year!

The Cans for Kids program helps school age children that are experiencing food insecurity at 18 different schools in the area.

Some of our most vulnerable young community members depend on the contributions that our wonderful Realtors donate to the program.

🎉 Celebrating 150 Years of Hot Springs! 🎉

Last night, members of the Hot Springs Board of REALTORS® traded contracts and closings for a little celebrating as we joined our community for the Hot Springs 150th Birthday Gala! 🥂

We’re proud to call Hot Springs home and even prouder to be part of a community with such a rich history, strong spirit and exciting future.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating 150 years of the city we live, work and serve in every day — and our HSBOR crew cleaned up pretty nicely, too!

What a fantastic evening! 💜

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our RPAC Social & Trivia Night! It was an evening filled with great food from Bubba's Catfish, incredible live music by Lee Summit, friendly competition and lots of fun.
