South West Arkansas Partnership Coalition -SWAP 🏠 SWAP is a regional coalition dedicated to housing our neighbors in Clark, Garland, Hot Spring, Montgomery, Nevada, and Pike counties. 🏠

SWAP is a regional coalition dedicated to housing our neighbors in Clark, Garland, Hot Spring, Montgomery, Nevada, and Pike counties. As part of the Arkansas Balance of State Continuum of Care (CoC), SWAP brings together community and government partners to:

-Develop coordinated strategies to prevent homelessness
-Rapidly rehouse individuals and families
-Expand access to permanent supportive housing
-Share resources and data to strengthen local responses
-Conduct the annual HUD Point-in-Time Homeless Count
-Apply for critical funding, including ESG, PATH, and HUD grants

👼🏾The Salvation Army is gearing up for Angel Tree 2026! Keep reading for helpful information:
🎁WHAT: Christmas assistance for households with children aged 12 and under in Garland, Clark, Hot Spring, and Montgomery Counties including Hot Springs Village.
📆WHEN: Online applications will open October 1st and close October 23
📱WHERE: Applications are ONLINE at saangeltree.org (October 1-23)
👪WHO: Households with children 12 and under
🎅WHY: Helping make Christmas bright and spread the greatest news ever, the birth of Jesus!

📍Needed documents for uploading:
✅Parent/Guardian: Photo ID, Proof of address (if different than ID), Proof of income, SNAP letter (if you receive SNAP)

✅Child(ren): Birth certificate, proof of custody paperwork if not birth parent, clothing and shoe sizes, wish list items

⛔Documents NOT accepted: photo uploads of kids or parents, Social Security cards, hand-written letters saying there is no income
