A step in the right direction! 🎉

Balloon releases are now officially illegal in Louisiana, after the passage of HB 851, which prohibits the intentional outdoor release of Mylar and latex helium balloons.

Balloon releases are often used in celebration or to honor the memory of those who passed away - but what goes up, must come down.
