This week was full! Full of deadlines, calendars full of appointments and full of helping buyers, sellers and investors close on their real estate transactions! It is so rewarding to help those first time home buyers and we had several of those this week. Thank to our clients and referral partners for allowing BEST Title and Settlements to assist.

What a wonderful and very busy week for the Amelia County Chamber of Commerce!

This week was filled with meaningful moments that truly highlight the strength and spirit of our community. We had the honor of presenting our very first scholarship award at Amelia County High School — an exciting milestone and an investment in the future of our local students. From there, we enjoyed celebrating at Amelia Day, gathering with friends, neighbors, families, and local businesses who make our county such a special place to live and work.

We also hosted our Business Appreciation Luncheon, recognizing and thanking the many businesses and entrepreneurs who continue to support and strengthen our community every day. To top it all off, we wrapped up the week with the 1st Annual Corks and Forks Festival — a fantastic event filled with great food, fellowship, and community spirit.

Being involved in our community is incredibly rewarding. One of the best parts is getting to know so many dedicated business owners, community leaders, and residents who care deeply about Amelia County. It’s always wonderful reconnecting with friends and neighbors while also building new relationships along the way.

Weeks like this remind us how fortunate we are to live and work in a community that values connection, support, and local businesses. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, and attended these events. We are excited for all that is ahead for our Chamber and our community!

The countdown is on for the Corks & Forks Wine and Food Festival and we can’t wait to celebrate with you this Saturday, May 16th! Here’s everything you need to know before arriving:

Gates open at 10AM

🚗 Parking
Parking will be available in the front field, with clearly marked areas and attendants to help guide traffic. Once the front lot is filled, parking is available at multiple local lots in the area within walking distance.

🎟️ Tickets + Entry
- If you purchased tickets in advance, they should have been sent to your email.
- We recommend saving them to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy access.
- Please have your ticket and valid ID ready at the gate. Everyone will be ID’d regardless of age.
- Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate while available.

- Tastings with all participating beverage vendors (21+)
- Live music & entertainment
- Kids Zone access
- Artisan vendor market access

Enjoy live music from Ragged Edge Band plus a DJ alternating music throughout the event.

You are welcome to bring lawn chairs. We’ll also have a tented hospitality area + standing tables available for relaxing and dining.

🐾 Pets
No pets allowed. Registered service animals only.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Friendly Notes
- Children are welcome but must be supervised, or accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No alcohol is permitted in the Kids Zone.

🚫 Outside Items
No outside food or beverages may be brought into the park.

I can say that I have been very blessed all my life. Giving to the food pantry or a family in need is something my family has done for many years. As a business owner, I would like to reach out to those friends and acquaintances that I know to offer them an opportunity to make a difference. Every little bit helps. BEST TITLE AND SETTLEMENTS, LLC will be a drop-off location for donations to Amelia's Food Pantry. We will deliver all donations directly to them.
