When I was younger I thought Kobe was arrogant and cocky....as I grew older I grew to understand his attitude. I connected with his words... When my favorite number was unavailable...Kobe’s number was the next best thing. I learned the meaning of leaving everything on the field. I brought 120% every time I stepped on the field...but more than guidance on the field he was an inspiration for life. He crossed over beyond basketball...I’m not a laker fan... I’m a Kobe fan. I am not a fan girl...I am not someone who obsesses over an athlete or a famous person... But I could always relate or be inspired by the things Kobe said and did...there are not many famous people I can say were an inspiration to me...this one hurts to the core.
