✨Big news for the East End!

H-E-B is under contract to purchase a nearly 6-acre site near Canal St. While plans have not been officially confirmed, many neighbors are hopeful this could bring a new grocery store to our community.

For years, parts of the East End have had limited access to nearby supermarkets. A project like this could mean better access to fresh food, new jobs, and continued investment.

The proposed “HEB East End” project is scheduled to go before the Planning Commission on May 28.
