🏗️ VALLEY RANCH IS ABOUT TO GET EVEN BIGGER.
Construction is expected to begin in late July on a brand-new Commerce District near Highway 59 and the Grand Parkway, and this is not some tiny little strip center situation. 😂
The full project will cover 55 acres and eventually include:
🏪 400,000 square feet of commercial development
🏢 Class A office space
🍽️ Restaurants and retail
🌳 Public gathering spaces
🏘️ A 600-unit luxury multifamily community
The first phase, called Commerce West, will be anchored by a new 120,000-square-foot H-E-B, expected to open in fall 2027.
And yes, this H-E-B is coming with the extras:
• Covered curbside pickup
• Fuel station
• Car wash
There will also be about 19,500 square feet of additional retail space and two outparcel opportunities for restaurants, shops, or service businesses.
Honestly, Valley Ranch is clearly trying to become one of those places where you can live, work, shop, eat, and barely have a reason to leave.
And I have to say this is what intentional development looks like. They are not just dropping random buildings everywhere and hoping it all makes sense later.
The second phase, Commerce East, is expected to bring even more retail, restaurants, offices, luxury apartments, and gathering spaces, although a construction date has not been announced yet.
So now the real question is:
What restaurants or retailers do you hope they bring in besides H-E-B?
Because please let it be something we do not already have five of. 😂
