You may have caught some of the headlines from this week that US house prices are falling for the first time since 2012. However, what's really going on is more nuanced than that. When you look into the actual data, as I do, you find that these headlines are most relevant for the West Coast. For example, take a look at this list from CNBC naming the top 10 cooling markets in the country: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/09/27/ten-us-cities-where-housing-markets-are-cooling-the-fastest.html

Real estate is intensely local — so in a lot of regions, housing inventory is still technically showing a slowly-changing seller's market right now with high home values. That's just not what headlines are saying.

What a day!!! It didn’t start out too well- my listing was so close to closing but didn’t appraise and the buyers terminated. So that kinda sucked-plus I think we got hosed on the appraisal anyway!
But it ended strong! 2 executed contracts that I’m super excited about for my buyers AND a lease approval for another client!
Feeling blessed to be able to help so many people!
