Apparently everyone is going back to the 80s… so Michelle and I decided to put a real estate spin on it. 😂

There was just one small problem…

🏡 Home price: $89,000
📈 Mortgage rate: 18%+
📞 No cell phones
💻 No Zillow
📠 And your Realtor probably carried a pager (this realtor was a toddler!)

Mortgage rates today may not feel cheap, but history definitely gives us some perspective. In the early 1980s, U.S. mortgage rates actually climbed above 18%.

So if you’ve been waiting for 3% rates to come back before buying a home… you may be waiting for the wrong thing.

The better question isn’t “Are rates perfect?”
It’s “Does buying make sense for me right now?”

This one is more than just another LEASED sign.

I originally helped my international client purchase this Montrose home as their Houston residence. They enjoyed the property for about six months before returning overseas.
