When you protest your property taxes, there’s no guarantee of tax reduction, but if you do not protest your property taxes, it’s guaranteed to remain the set fee that you see on your statement for any given year.

Go to the county website from which you received your statement and where the property is located, and follow the directions to protest. You will likely need some comparables to back up your position. That’s where a Real Estate Agent can help you.

Now before anyone comments this, I already know that gray is out. 😂

This post is being reused from a few years ago simply for the message…not so much the aesthetics. The message still holds true.

There are some updates worth the investment and some not so much.

Updates do help bring more interest to the property and sometimes a higher profit depending on what it is.

Most importantly, the house needs to be clean. If you don’t want the hassle of updating you can also offer concessions for certain items. Remember that buyers want to envision their life in the house and oftentimes that means changing up what you have put in place.

Ya’ll…this non-slip rug is so pretty and soft! It blends so well in our kitchen (colors are black, gold and beige) and all I have to do is throw it in the washer!
