Moving to Houston is exciting — but there are a few things people usually learn after they arrive.

The city is bigger than it looks on a map.
Flood risk should be researched by address.
Houston’s no-zoning structure makes neighborhoods feel layered and unique.
The weather changes how you experience a home.
And the food scene is absolutely part of the lifestyle.

Houston has so much to offer.

But the right move starts with understanding the city beyond the highlight reel.

I genuinely care. ✨

Choosing a Houston neighborhood is not about fitting into a label.

It is about understanding your routine.

Do you want a more social, central lifestyle?
A lock-and-leave setup?
More space?
A quieter weekend rhythm?
A neighborhood with charm and personality?

Houston has many versions of home, and each one comes with different trade-offs.

The key is knowing which version actually fits the way you want to live.

I genuinely care.

Houston real estate is not one-size-fits-all.

A budget can help point the search in a direction, but the real conversation is about lifestyle, commute, maintenance, amenities, property type, and the trade-offs that actually make sense for you.

A condo in Uptown.
A townhome near Midtown.
A home in Spring Branch.
A lifestyle-driven search in Montrose or The Heights.
A more customized luxury search across Houston and The Woodlands.

The number matters.

But the strategy behind the search matters too.

I genuinely care. ✨

A new development to watch near The Woodlands.

Gosling Oaks is taking shape near Gosling Road and West Rayford Road, with plans for a 50+ acre mixed-use destination that brings together residential living, retail, restaurants, office space, and connected greenspaces.

One major piece of the project is Broadstone Gosling Oaks, a 388-unit apartment community now under construction, with first residences expected to open in December 2026.

For anyone watching growth around The Woodlands and North Houston, this is the kind of project that can help shape how people live, work, gather, and experience the area.

I genuinely care.

Can I tell you something?

I never had just one chapter.

I was born in Mexico.
I lived in Europe.
I built a career as a professional chef.
I fell in love with design.
And eventually, all of those experiences led me to real estate.

For a long time, these may have looked like separate parts of my life.

Now I see how connected they really are.

Hospitality taught me to care about the experience.
Design taught me to notice what others may miss.
Living in different places taught me how deeply a sense of home can matter. And real estate gave me a way to bring all of those things together.

Today, as Team Leader of Altura Collective at SERHANT. Texas, I am stepping into a new chapter, one built on service, strategy, creativity, and the belief that people deserve to feel genuinely supported through some of life’s biggest decisions.

The path was not linear.

But every chapter prepared me for this one.

And I truly believe the best is still ahead. ✨

I genuinely care.

Houston made the top five, and this one is based on data, not vibes. 👀🏡

Zillow ranked the 50 largest U.S. metros to find the best markets for first-time homebuyers in 2026, looking at factors like rent affordability, the availability of homes within reach, competition for affordable listings, and the number of households in prime homebuying years.

The result?

Houston ranked 5 in the country. 🤠

That does not mean buying your first home is suddenly easy, or that every neighborhood and every price point works for every buyer.

But it does mean Houston continues to offer conditions worth exploring for people trying to take that first step into homeownership.

Thinking about buying your first home? Let’s look at what the numbers actually mean for you.

I genuinely care. ✨
