A topic I want to touch upon is deconstruction. We are in the midst of utilizing this tax-savvy method, which entails taking apart the home, piece by piece, so that a majority of the material can be recycled or reused. Itās a great way to salvage material, be less wasteful and take advantage of a significant tax benefit. Deconstruction requires two specialists: an appraiser and a deconstruction company. The appraiser determines the fair market value of all the components and lists them in a detailed document, which ensures full benefits of the donation. This is especially useful if ever audited by the IRS. One thing I would recommend is communicating with your HOA beforehand and setting up a temporary fence to prevent theft or arson during the process.ā»ļø

On a prettier note... We walked our property yesterday and loved seeing all the different blooms, and canāt wait to create a beautiful landscape once itās finished!āØ
