Story time!
Iā€™ve been looking at homes for two different transaction types, one renting and one buying. Both are wanting basically the same thing, 3Bed/2Bath home and in the same general area. The difference between the two monthly? Around $400 šŸ˜². The avg price to rent such home was about $1,500 a month plus pet rent which is growing. The estimated mortgage for something similar one street over for sale? Less than 1,200 a month. I compared two homes for sale. One at 209k and one at 250k and this is where the range of 1100-1650!

What holds most people back? The down paymentšŸ’µšŸ’µšŸ’µ. 20% is an intimidating number when considering a home. Did you KNOWWW itā€™s possible to only need 3% down? Did you also know there is down payment assistance to help provide this to you, sometimes up to 8%.

Buying may seem scary, but remember that rental move in cost? $3,000 minimum.

3.5% of 250k is $8,750. Remember that down payment assistance? Harris County, did you know we have our own program offering up to $23,800?šŸ¤˜šŸ¼šŸ‘€ No? Okay.
