Albert's Winter Freeze Tips 🥶❄️

Hi everyone as we know cold weather may be upon us this coming weekend. Looks like Texas is preparing and we might get the tail end of it but better to prepare than not. 29 degrees for longer than 4 hours+ days are what needs to be on alert 🌡️Most items can buy at local Home Depot or Hardware store but incase you don't have time. Don't wait til last minute ⏰

1. Remove and drain all outdoor hoses and store it. Buy a hose spigot for insulation to cover the head. Easy install.

2. Turn OFF Sprinkler systems and drain the bell area. Invest in a sprinkler cover. Watch the video below to learn how to drain. Mine broke before and it was about $350 to fix and plumbers were backed up. So make sure you do this! Video below:

3. Make sure the main water line is well insulated. If it is inside make sure your garage is closed

4. If you have exposed pipe, let it drip from the faucet. Running water helps prevent pipes from freezing.

5. Leave heat on to keep interior of house at constant temperature 70. Open cabinet doors so warm air can circulate.

6. Prepare generators, fill up gas or charge up your cars.

7. Check on your neighbors and elderly who may need help preparing
