Story Time:
I did not imagine getting a listing this year and I got 2…at the same exact time!
I had a client contact me on May 1st & asked me to sell their home & I told them I have 0 experience representing sellers & I could give them recommendations as I want them to have the best person for the job so they can get the best results. They would not take “no” for an answer. They said, “since we have been in Texas & have been in contact with many agents, you are the only person we trust & feel comfortable with (I met them last year and helped with their relocation. I have now leased their family multiple apartments/townhomes & the home I’m selling for them is another family member). Please do this for us and if things don’t go well, then we can bring another agent on but we really want to support you and would love you to do this for us.” That was a huge boost of motivation for me as April was a rough month. A few hours later, a friend asked me to list their home as well. At that point I was all in and completely committed. So I visited both homes, we got the homes ready and hit the market shortly after.
Both homes quickly went under contract within the first week at asking & above asking🙌🏼
Both clients were both going though completely different life changes and had complete opposite personalities. I felt a lot of pressure with that but I’m glad they chose me to be apart of the process & I enjoyed being able to be there for them during that time. A huge thank you to them trusting me & giving me the opportunity to learn & challenge myself as I grow in my career.
