Philip Johnson: Transitioned from modernism to postmodernism, shaping Texas' architectural identity.
Howard Barnstone: Noted for his modernist and later traditionalist works, teaching, and publications on Galveston and John F. Stahl.
John and Dominique de Menil: Patrons who shaped Houston's cultural and architectural scene.
James Johnson Sweeney: Museum director who promoted modernist installations and completed Mies' master plan.
In addition to the presentation, we enjoyed touring this beautiful historical siteβ¦. The architecture and interior decor of the times.
