Kimmie Gillespie, Houston Realtor I am a Houston real estate agent specializing in first-time home buying and new construction sales. I have been in the industry since 2021.

My heart is with first time home buyers but I have helped many clients in different walks of life, from their first home purchase to their fourth of fifth investment property. I have experience in new home & resale home sales, land lots, leases, and apartment locating. I am the Houston mentor for Only 1 Realty Group. Any new agent that comes on board and enters into the mentorship program is lead

by me. I work side by side with them on their first few transactions to give hands on training and in depth knowledge on contracts and negotiation tactics. Prior to real estate I had a wide range of careers. My undergrad degree is in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years and was then the Pre-K & Kindergarten art teacher for 3 years, at Reece Academy in Aldine ISD. My last two years of teaching I went back to school to pursue my MBA at the University of Houston. Upon graduation I worked at TopSpot Internet Marketing as a Search Engine Optimization specialist for a little over a year. From there I went on to Direct Sales & Event Marketing with HelloFresh. The pandemic hit 10 months later and I was forced to find another job. I worked at One Foot Over (full service digital marketing) as the Marketing Account Manager for about one year. I did some soul searching and asked myself what did I love about each of these careers and what job would encompass all of them? The answer was real estate. I fully love this career and the privilege of being able to help clients get into a home.
