The thing that’s hurting some first-time buyers right now?

It’s not interest rates.

If you have credit above 600, first time home buyer, 2 year work history, NO GAPS and currently working, income tax for 2021-2022 filed. These programs might be for you. Let’s take it back a few years when people were approved for $175,000 and had multiple options of houses to buy but wanted more than what their budget could offer, so they kept waiting for the market to crash…..

Those people approved for that and never bought anything, what can they buy now for $175,000?

Same concept now.

People approved for lower budgets, need to understand the longer you wait to pull the trigger, the higher probability that what your budget will buy you now, will be LESS the longer time goes on and the market continues to stay steady while interest rates are a wild card…

Your first home is not your forever home. Your first home is about securing an asset with the mind of investment to be your building block for the future to help get you into that house with the five acres or that house with the three car garage.

Most people that I’ve sold houses to contact me a few years later ready to sell again and guess what…they take a big fat paycheck with them that helps prop them up into a position to upgrade.

Do not miss out on the financial opportunity presented because you need one more acre or three hundred more square feet. Think long term and think assets, not granite counters and hardwood floors.
