Reflecting and missing Memorial Day 🇺🇸 at with my 3 fave boys! Riff's first lake day was full of "what is this?" moments 😂, but seeing Rocky chill helped him get the hang of it. Swimming was another story—those short legs struggled! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Time for a life jacket like his big brother! 👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏽🐶🐶

🏡✨ From childhood dreams to living the reality! ✨🏡

Even before the digital age, I had a passion for home renovation. My "Pinterest" was a collection of 3-ring binders filled with magazine clippings and articles. Fast forward a few decades, and a neglected, boarded-up house in our neighborhood caught our eye. It had been abandoned for over ten years, and a previous investor had gutted the interior before walking away.

and I saw potential where others saw ruin. This became our third distressed bungalow in Independence Heights. Partnering with for the architectural plans was a game-changer! After a year of design tweaks, inspections, and countless conversations, this house transformed into our home.

Living here every day, we feel the joy of revitalizing a piece of history. 🏠❤️

Sometimes the challenge with home design isn’t what to choose but what to avoid, especially if selling your home is in your plans. According to our Boulevard Realty in-house interior designer Katelyn Moore Designs these are 5 design trends we may be seeing less of this year. Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of ceiling fans with light kits, I prefer the comfortable feeling of dimmable lamps and earth scented candles. Firepits, whether built-in or removable, are so nice to have on those occasions when you can enjoy them. Firepits with removable tops are a great option for year-round versatility.
