A resident of Houston since 1979, Emily Zakhem enjoyed a successful career as a pharmacist before earning her real estate license. She worked as a retail pharmacist (earning Pharmacist of the Year twice) and pharmacy manager before becoming a clinical research pharmacist. A member of the board of directors at Keller Williams Realty Memorial, as well as a member of the brokerage’s Associate Leadership Council, Emily is both Chair of the Agent Advocate Committee and a member of the Luxury Committee. Philanthropy has always been an integral part of Emily’s life and giving back to the community, especially the needy and children continues to be a top priority for her. She serves as an active member of the Ladies of Houston Charity Club, which was founded in 1952 with the sole objective of helping others. Emily has chaired more than 24 major galas, including the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Gala for 10 consecutive years, the St. Agnes Academy High School Gala, and the American Lebanese Medical Association Gala. She is also a previous board member with the Baylor Cancer Center Advocates Council. Recently she received the 2023 Influential Women Award. When not serving her clients or the community, Emily enjoys music and dancing, cooking, and opening her home to others. She is fluent in English, Arabic, and French, and speaks some Spanish.
