Back in the lab at the National Building Archives this week testing CFM in the real world in powered ventilation fans.

Let's just say, when it comes to mouse traps, money doesn't always mean better, it means being better educated with your clients money is what wins your future business.

Failing infrastructure is growing at an alarming rate, and it's mostly due to lack of education.

Everyday we see contractors and building owners struggling to close the deal by looking for the cheapest solution possible, not the most sustainable, the most efficient or the least environmental impact.

Today I worked with a national building archives member to wrap a deal for a building owner on a new roof, and used the partnership of other members to obtain tax credits, increase building efficiency to the point, the contract will pay for itself in a few years, yet will last decades, be hail resistant and building owners and contractors both left the meeting happy. Both felt they won.

That's what the national building archives is about.

Need help learning th commercial business, join our partnership of great contributors and learn from the best.

Everyday we see a different version of contractor failures and at the same time, see the "New Phoenix" rising from the ashes.

Contractor's have always built America based on thier fore fathers mindsets of installation practices, yet in todays profit driven business models, these practices are increasingly being directed to not meet building code.

As an example, the National Bulding Archives is documenting (2) industrial failures of building remodeling, where building codes on structural, energy and wind code standards were not properly evaluated by the contractors, the building officials or the suppliers.

Bottom line, they all missed 100% of building codes, and everyone is pointing the fingers, looking to blame others, rather than themselves.

We need to educate our workers, pay attention to building codes and if we don't know, and your in the construction business, who is you code compliance officer ?

If you don't know, or don't think you need one, you're putting a target on your company's back for a massive loss.

Today the National Building Archives Historical Restoration division closed a massive state wide adoption of the next evolutionary jump in the built world standards.

Thanks to kristi horn for staying on this sale for 18 months, the fruit of hard work and dedication, closed the deal.

It's a state wide adopted program with many contractors and suppliers participating in the documentation program, ensuring that The National Building Archives construction database will provide critical information to maintaining the built world in compliance with United Nations global standards.

We share this world with 196 other nations, and helping others meet the sustainability standards, environmental impact assessment and increasing energy efficiency, is a step towards achieving the convention goals of 2023.

The National Building Archives is looking for construction projects that fit the agenda of the United Nations COP 28 agreement of increasing the efficiency of buildings by 66%

This is a combination of roofing, solar, insulation and other construction upgrades to older buildings.

If you have an upcoming project your company is working on, that has not started yet, please get in touch with me.

We are looking for contractors who are interested in participating in these projects as the United States is currently working towards better incentives for building owners and investors.

This will be an ongoing learning model and the next chapter of the construction process.

Our first project is in San Antonio Texas, we will be setting up some a learning center onsite for the participating contractors, manufacturers to meet with building owners, developers and other interested parties.

Reach out to me if interested in participating with the national building archives in these projects.

As my companies align with the agreements made by the Meeting of Nations at COP28, our ever-expanding network of contributors to The National Building Archives network, we look forward to not only documenting the achievements of contractors, manufacturers and distribution centers that follow the agreements of all nations, but to help these same companies align with political partnerships for a better planet.

America is 4% of the global population and 20% of the global problems, yet we can do better.

Ending another great week at The National Building Archives, working with 3 more manufacturers who are trusting the NBA team with customer service questionnaires, scheduled maintenance documentation for mortgage and insurance documentation requirements hitting the real estate industry next year. Have a great Friday everyone !

Contractors are a learn as we go mindset.

What seemed and sold like a great idea, this system failed miserably because of lack of engineering knowledge and chemistry of the installing contractor.

Today we filled a trailer with hundreds of square feet of industrial trash, 100% non recyclable, because of poor quality applications of SPF.

While this system was less than a decade old, and 10's of thousands in wasted cash, it's being replaced with a life of building roofing system designed by Fibertite KEE/PVC membrane's, known for their 5 decades of systainability.

This roofing system will be registered with The National Building Archives, and documented with copies of contracts, warranties, proof of payment, building permits and engineered drawings for future preservations.
