Several winners at bingo and I handed out two applications.🙂. We had lots of good food and everybody got some homegrown tomatoes. Because this is just how we roll here🙂Miss Barb didn’t win tonight but got to pick a prize because I didn’t feel well and she ran her legs off helping bring food up, setting up tables, making plates, and doing food delivery to others. As always, I truly appreciate Dean calling for me, but never more than tonight. Dean, you should have picked a prize, but maybe you will get a surprise one of these days😉We were glad to have four guests tonight. Tenants are encouraged to bring family and visitors. Guests are always welcome. I think everyone had a good time! I sure hope so. Barb was the guilty party on the photo bomb😜

We have a full house tonight and also a full room for bingo/birthday dinner. More to follow later😀

A month sure rolls around a lot quicker than it did a few years ago. Tonight was our June bingo/birthday meal. We had a spaghetti dinner. Worlds of deliciousness. Thinking about a baked potato bar next month. We had a few people who didn’t make it but we made up some plates and delivered them. Louise is a regular but she fell this morning and had to miss tonight. We were glad Ms Roberta made it this month. We also have some men who have joined the group. I had to shop with the men in mind yesterday. We had several winners. Thanks to Dean Neal for calling. He always brings plenty of laughs.

Tonight was bingo/birthday dinner. We missed a few regulars who couldn’t be there. We had several winners. Winning prizes were Birdie, Barb, Bernice, Jan, Glenda, Debbie, and Cat. Time to refill the treasure chest🙂

The office will be closed tomorrow morning for a funeral. Manager will be in the office tomorrow afternoon but can’t be disturbed because of a three-hour test resulting from recent training. We will be open Tuesday as normal.

Today was our monthly bingo game/birthday luncheon. Today, instead of pot luck, we did tacos. I volunteered to bring the taco meat, then tracked/assigned the remaining ingredients to make sure we had what we needed, but didn’t have duplicates, and that we also had desserts. It worked out really well. We had two sick ladies who couldn’t come, and we had a couple who weren’t feeling well and had to bug out early, yet we had a full house. We were a bit crowded. Mr. Neal did the calling again, which is always fun. He makes everyone laugh. We had several prize winners. It was a good time. We missed Ms Roberta and Ms Sue. Please keep them in your prayers. Ms Sue had a mishap with a bowl of soup and burned her leg rather badly. Ms Roberta recently returned to her apartment following a medical episode and she wasn’t having the best day. It was a beautiful day here. I am giving some thought to what we might do next month. A spaghetti dinner with bread, salads, and desserts crossed my mind.

Today the valentine gnomes came down and the leprechauns went up. Today was also our birthday meal/bingo game and my people practically wiped out my prize box. I will have to restock before next month Miss Clarice had an out-of-town appointment and couldn’t be there today and Miss Roberta was feeling under the weather. They were sorely missed. Mr. Dean did the calling and fried up some freshly caught fish. I have been super busy so I stayed in the office and worked and just showed up in time for picture taking. I think everyone had a good time. I could hear them laughing while I was in my office working. It was a beautiful day in the Neighbourhood!

Merry Christmas from all the residents to all of you. Our wish is for a happy, peaceful, safe, and blessed holiday. Enjoy family and friends but remember the reason for the season and make that a part of your day, as well.

I got lazy and ran to Subway to pick up a sandwich instead of cooking this evening. When I came back a group of carolers were standing in front of my apartment singing their hearts out while four or five little kids danced around. My little bulldog, Max, was staring out the window with his little stubby tail wagging. They are going to each apartment. I think it is just the sweetest thing to bring cheer to the residents here. What would the world be without music, especially at Christmas time. Our wish here is for everyone to have a safe and wonderful Christmas. The reason for the season is our savior, Jesus Christ.
