December Mood!

Yes, I went to a bar with my husband, sister and friends the night before Thanksgiving. Going to a bar does not mean I drank alcohol. I love all things Christmas and I needed to get out the house post surgery.

Weeks ago I would have never posted this video because I’m soo conscious about my body etc. I probably would not have even gotten on that table and danced because I’m always so serious and do not like people watching me. I danced and had the best time in the 2 hours I was there.

If you’re in Houston, LA, NYC , Chicago or Austin, Frosty’s Christmas Bar is so much fun. The one here in Houston has 2 floors, several bars, Christmas themed cocktails and a dance floor with live djs.

Up at 5am brain storming marketing ideas for end of year into the new year. 2 weeks post op and I’m ready to get back to work. 🤫 dont’t tell my recovery team (husband, mother and sister). What I’ve missed the most since March (discovery of tumor) is the ability to give my work 100%. I left my team because I didn’t feel it was fair that I couldn’t commit 100%. I’ve really missed meeting and helping all of the amazing people I normally got to know throughout their real estate journey. I just can’t wait to get back to me 😀

1 week post 2nd craniotomy tomorrow. I didn’t plan to be back here so soon but the option was presented to me before I could get the venous stent put in place to help with the intracranial pressure I’ve been dealing with since July. I’m here! By god’s grace ! My rockstar support and recovery team. My new neuro surgeon and his team. Everything fell into place beautifully. I’m forever grateful for this past week. We humans were built for hard s**t. We can do anything we put our minds to with the belief of our higher power. The truest and most loyal people will always show up for you when you need them as well. Let’s conquer this next week. As we all prepare for Thanksgiving, remember to be thankful for your blessings but lend a helping hand if you are highly blessed and favored.

Dear July,

You brought me to my knees—but you also brought me back to life.

This month, I faced one of the hardest challenges of my life: brain surgery. Nothing prepares you for the weight of those words. The pain, the fear, the stillness. But also—nothing compares to the clarity it brings.

You reminded me how fragile life is, and how powerful the body can be when we choose to honor it. I’ve never felt more grateful to simply be—to breathe, to move, to wake up and feel sunlight on my skin.

This healing hasn’t been easy. It’s been humbling, quiet, and slow. But it’s also been sacred. I’ve learned to listen more closely—to my body, my mind, and what they need. Rest. Nourishment. Grace. Love.

So thank you, July. For breaking me open, and letting the light pour in.
