I am a father, a husband, a Pastor, a Realtor, and most importantly a vessel. As a professional, my experience draws from several industries. I have work in sales, telecommunications, food service, ministry, transportation, architectural coatings, and real estate. As a teen, I ventured into fashion designing. I had success, resulting in a fashion show and a write-in in the Houston Chronicle titled
"A Gift for Gab and Garb" (written by: David Kaplan). I began in real estate as a Leasing Agent for Alliance Residential Management short after the birth of my daughter in 2008. I worked my way to Property Manager later in 2009 for Asset Plus Companies. While managing multifamily property, I developed a skill for making the best of bad situations, whether it be managing expenses on make-readies during an extremely distressed financial situation; or working through negativity and poor management rapport to restore relations and retain occupancy on a property that had been neglected by the previous Community Manager. Towards the end of 2009, I left Asset Plus and worked as a Leasing Agent for DIS Partners, LLC out of California. This firm specialized in 1031 real estate investment strategies. My responsibility was to lease, lease. DIS owned 500+ homes in Houston upon my arrival have over 100 homes vacant. Needless to say, I work diligently to bring my firm's need for tenants with the community's needs for affordable homes for rent. I was very successful and enjoy my time with DIS. In July of the following year, the owners of the company decided to outsource the property management department as a whole to another organization. After that, I began my career as a licensed Realtor. I joined Trend Setter Realty in 2010.
