Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, with deep Louisiana roots, Harris chose to attend Louisiana State University i

n Baton Rouge where he majored in Business Management and minored in Psychology. While at LSU, he became acquainted with Pon Holdings B.V., a large multinational company based in the Netherlands. After a lengthy six-month process, Harris was one of only two college graduates from the United States to be selected for their management training program, where his focus was on project management and process improvement. While working for them in Amsterdam, Harris developed and implemented process improvement strategies for the Netherlands/Norway/Sweden/Denmark division of Caterpillar, but it was his transfer to Pon Holding’s Material Handling Division (Equipment Depot) that ultimately brought him to Houston where his interest in customer service seriously began to take rise. After four years with the company, Harris learned that success in business is all about relationships, responsiveness and communication, which is so necessary for high-level customer service. His knowledge, passion and understanding of this soon led him to pursue his long-time interest in real estate, and it was his regard for the people, culture and diversity of Houston that made him fall in love with the city that he now considers his home. As a sales associate at Douglas Elliman, Harris will always strive to offer his clients a positive experience that is outcome driven, where complete satisfaction is the only possible end result. On a personal note: Harris is the youngest of three brothers and is extremely close to his family, who now live in New Orleans. Growing up he learned the importance of service to others and spends his volunteer hours as the Assistant Director of Community Outreach for the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston.
