FW Heritage Our mission is to Respectfully Restore historic homes in the First Ward and surrounding neighborhoods This has significantly impacted the First Ward.

Our mission is to Respectfully Restore and preserve historic homes in the First Ward and its surrounding neighborhoods. Our vision is to maintain the historic character of the neighborhood, to protect its heritage and to showcase its legacy to future generations. In recent years, the Washington Corridor has been experiencing rapid growth. We do understand that development and growth are important

and much needed to improve the quality of the neighborhood. However, too many historic single-family homes, in good or at least salvageable conditions, have been demolished and replaced with 4-storey townhomes. This practice has become so widespread that it threatens to destroy the historic character of our neighborhood. FW Heritage presents its First Ward neighbors who want to sell their historic homes, with an alternative, to the townhome Builder.

Our trim carpenters are BUSY with window and door casings, hanging doors, building out closets, installing plinth blocks, baseboards and beadboard and getting us closer and closer to the finish line 💜💜

- next, our trim carpenters begin - window and door casings, hang the doors, build out closets, install plinth blocks, baseboards and beadboard in a few areas and getting us closer to the finish line 💜💜

- The good weather is helping move this phase of the build, swiftly along! Staircase up to the 2nd floor has been built. Framers will be done by Sunday and COH inspections next week before the roofers get here! We’re hoping to have the house dried in by mid March!
